Things You Need To Know: Check Out

1. Everyone MUST check-out. If you try and "do the dip" on checking out, you will be charged a $125 improper check-out fee and a $250 key charge - yikes! So, unless you're DiCaprio, you probably don't want to make it rain.

2. Be sure to COMPLETE your apartment closing checklist that will be emailed to you, or you could be charged. You don't want the scare of extra charges. Mike Wazowski has the right "eye"-dea.

3. You have two options: traditional or express check-out. Traditional means that you will accompany one of our wonderful staff members as they make sure you've cleaned up and will check for any damages. Express means that you will fill out a waiver giving us the go-ahead to walk through your apartment and check everything without you. Choose your path wisely.

4. Return your keys. We know this seems pretty obvious, but the lack of doing so will lead to...more charges (seems to be the running theme). If you have lost your keys, we suggest looking harder.

5. You MUST be out by 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 5th. However, if you want to leave early, please come by the office and tell us. We are not mind readers. This isn't the Twilight saga, and Edward Cullen doesn't work here (thankfully).

If you follow these guidelines, you should be all set to ride into the school-free summer sunset. We hope that you all have a great break! If you are a returning student, we will see you in the brand new Mashburn Hall in the fall (whoop whoop)!
